Drainage channels

The Service Department visually inspects the main stormwater drainage channels in the Village for major obstructions during the months of July and August. The purpose of the inspection is to reduce the possibility of flooding during periods of heavy rain.

Stormwater drainage channels are defined as man made or natural drainage channels that serve a large area and promote the public welfare for a significant portion of the Village of Woodmere.If we find major obstructions, property owners will be contacted to arrange to have the problem corrected.
