Residents Encouraged to Participate in Environmental Awareness Survey

The Village of Woodmere is encouraging residents to participate in a survey to help assess the level of awareness residents have with regard to common household activities and their potential impact on the quality of our local water resources.  Answers provided will serve as a tool to develop state-mandated, water quality, educational materials for target audiences, and will help to determine appropriate vehicles to deliver educational messages.  Over time, the survey will assist Moreland Hills gauge the success of educational programs and ensure the effective spending of public funds.

There are two means by which residents can access the survey: paper copies and an on-line version.  Paper copies are available to be picked up at Woodmere Village Hall, or contact Christopher Hartman at 440-439-1999 to request a mailed copy. Completed surveys, which take approximately five minutes to fill out, can be submitted by mailing them to: Chagrin Valley Engineering, Ltd., Attention: Stacey Yanetta, 22999 Forbes Road Suite B, Oakwood Village, Ohio 44146.

As an alternative to filling out and returning a paper copy of the survey, residents are encouraged to access the same survey on-line through a link provided on this page. By completing the on-line version of the survey, a considerable amount of time and money needed to compile answers will be saved.  Regardless of which method you choose, be assured measures have been put in place to ensure the confidentiality and anonymity of the answers you provide.

To ensure a meaningful number of surveys are completed, the deadline to submit a survey or complete one on-line is May 1, 2008.  However, we encourage you to fill out the survey at your earliest convenience.   It is also requested only one survey per household be completed and that only those that are at least 18 years of age and a male or female head of the household participate in this survey.
